In September, we collaborated with Mainz University of Applied Sciences on a compact, practice-oriented project. In the Digital Innovation course, business administration students independently developed ideas for digital business models that could support the further expansion of our new business division, seKNd.life.
At the kick-off, we presented König + Neurath, seKNd.life and the task at hand. What was particularly exciting was that the students are completing their studies alongside their careers, bringing with them both fresh, theoretical knowledge and a highly practical perspective on the issue. The creative work continued the very next day: using the Lego Serious Play method, the students developed models of their workplace of the future, creating a playful and innovative approach to the topic.
Only a few weeks passed between the kick-off and the presentation of the results – which made the quality of the resulting concepts all the more impressive. The groups developed versatile approaches for how digital services and business models can meaningfully expand seKNd.life. All teams used AI tools as working tools and demonstrated how effectively modern technologies can be combined with their own ideas.
The presentations themselves were also impressive: structured, practical and highly engaging. The projects clearly demonstrated how valuable the combination of academic input, professional experience and creative methods can be.
A heartfelt thank you goes to the students for their commitment and to Professor Anna Rosinus for her expert guidance. The results will now be reviewed internally to decide which ideas we will incorporate into the further development of seKNd.life.
We look forward to carrying this innovative momentum forward and will, of course, keep you updated.
