König + Neurath appoints Prof. Dr Niko Mohr

Karben, 1 July 2026 – With effect from 1 July 2026, Prof. Dr Niko Mohr will take over as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of König + Neurath AG. Drawing on his experience in corporate governance, top-level management consultancy, transformation and digitalisation, he will play a key role in guiding the company’s strategic development going forward.

This appointment sends a clear signal regarding the next phase of König + Neurath’s development. Having completed its reorganisation, the company is now looking further ahead: towards operational strength, digital expertise and holistic solutions for future-proof working environments. The market is increasingly demanding integrated concepts combining space, products, services and consultancy. It is precisely here that König + Neurath intends to further strengthen its role as a catalyst and process facilitator. Operational responsibility remains with Executive Board member Patrick Heinen. The Supervisory Board guides and supports the company’s strategic direction.

Prof. Dr Niko Mohr brings extensive experience from senior corporate roles, top-level management consultancy, technology and academia. From 2024 to January 2026, he was a member of the Executive Board of the Friedhelm Loh Group and CEO of Rittal International and Rittal Software Systems. Prior to that, the technology expert spent almost 10 years as a Senior Expert Partner at McKinsey & Company in Düsseldorf, supporting companies across various industries in the development of digital strategies and technology-driven transformations. 

His academic work complements this management perspective: Prof. Dr Niko Mohr is an honorary professor of business administration at the University of Regensburg, where he teaches strategic transformation management. He thus brings a perspective that is particularly relevant to the tasks ahead for König + Neurath: strategic transformation, digitalisation and a deep understanding of change processes.

With Prof. Dr Niko Mohr as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Patrick Heinen as a member of the Executive Board, König + Neurath will continue to drive forward the reorganisation that has been initiated. Patrick Heinen will continue to be responsible for the operational management of the company and for implementing the transformation and restructuring measures. Prof. Dr Niko Mohr will provide strategic guidance to the Executive Board in his role as Chairman of the Supervisory Board and will contribute fresh impetus, particularly in the areas of transformation, digitalisation and corporate development.

Prof. Dr Niko Mohr succeeds Thomas M. Reimann, who stepped down as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of König + Neurath AG on 30 June 2026. Reimann had guided the company since 2024 through a crucial phase of stabilisation and strategic reorganisation. The shareholder families, the Supervisory Board and the Executive Board thank him for his commitment, his entrepreneurial vision and the trusting collaboration.
