Over the past 23 years, the 56 year-old graduate in industrial engineering has been a director in high-profile medium-sized companies operating on an international scale, with responsibility for strategic market positioning as well as the areas of marketing and sales.

He gained his first international experience with a Swedish company, before spending 13 years developing international business in Europe, Australia and Asia for a family-owned company in the USA. He’s no stranger to the office furniture sector either. He was responsible for strategic market orientation as well as all business operations for a well-known German manufacturer of office furniture.

Most recently he occupied the role of managing director in the lighting industry. Mr Cappello has in-depth experience in the fields of strategy, business development, marketing and sales, as well as product development. He has also completed multiple triathlons.

Mr Cappello has set himself a target of continuing to develop the success factors already in place at König + Neurath, applying his experiences in both retail and project work with a forward-thinking strategy, which in collaboration with senior management colleagues, his immediate team and the rest of the workforce will put König + Neurath AG on a course for future success.
