When acoustics become a meeting place

With BLOOM.COLLECTION, König + Neurath is introducing a new range of acoustic products that combines room acoustics, design and the quality of the environment. The collection comprises table-top, wall-mounted, ceiling-mounted and freestanding acoustic elements, thereby enabling a consistent design across all levels of a space. At its heart is an organic design language that views acoustics not as a technical necessity, but as a visible contribution to concentration, well-being and interaction within the space.

Open-plan workspaces need areas that provide orientation, create tranquillity and, at the same time, facilitate interaction. BLOOM.COLLECTION addresses precisely this need: it structures spaces both acoustically and atmospherically, without appearing technical. The system, made from sustainable PET material, can be flexibly integrated into workspaces, focus zones, collaboration areas, and lounge and hospitality areas. The consistent design language creates an acoustic system for the entire space – from a single table to a three-dimensional spatial structure.

A distinctive feature of the collection is the freestanding BLOOM.TREE. As a space-defining object, it makes acoustics visible and creates a focal point within the open-plan space. The tree becomes an anchor point for encounters: a place where people come together, exchange ideas, pause for a moment or work informally. In this way, BLOOM.COLLECTION translates the idea of the tree as a meeting place into a contemporary working environment – functional, emotive and spatially effective.

BLOOM.COLLECTION is aimed in particular at architects, planners, interior design firms, specialist retailers and contract sales. It supports both the redesign of working environments, where acoustics are part of the spatial concept from the outset, and the targeted acoustic and design enhancement of existing spaces. The organic design, flexible colour scheme and modular construction open up a wide range of possibilities for bespoke spatial concepts.
